WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University men's golf team is set to compete at the 2025 BIG EAST Men's Golf Championship, presented by Jeep. The event is set to return to Callawassie Island in Okatie, South Carolina, from Saturday, April 26 to Monday, April 28. Hoya Lineup
- Georgetown will travel with six student-athletes for this week's competition.
- In their last outing, the men's golf team placed 14th at the Boilermaker Invitational in West Lafayette, Indiana. GU posted rounds of 293, 289 and 293 at the Ackerman-Allen Golf Course, a par-71, 7,275 yard course. The Hoyas rounded out the three-day, 54-hole tournament with a team score of 875.
- Barnes Blake will take the top spot.
- Team captain Max Hutter is set to play in the two spot.
- Alan Rose will compete in the three spot for the Hoyas.
- CJ Winchenbaugh will be in the four spot.
- Team captain Jacob Finard will compete in the five spot.
- Bo Maradik will be the substitute for the Hoyas.
About the Tournament
- Ten BIG EAST programs will compete: Butler, UConn, Creighton, DePaul, Georgetown, Marquette, St. John's, Seton Hall, Villanova and Xavier.
- Competition tees off at 8 a.m. ET on Saturday, April 26. Opening-round threesomes will be based on team seedings, with pairings for Sunday and Monday determined by the previous day's leaderboard.
- The conference champion will earn an automatic berth to the 2025 NCAA Championship, while the individual medalist will also secure a spot in the national field.

- BIG EAST Conference Championship titles for Georgetown: 1998 (TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm, Potomac, Maryland), 2010 (Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Resort, Tampa, Florida.), and back-to-back wins in 2016 and 2018 (Callawassie Island Golf Club, Okatie, South Carolina). Since 1990, the Hoyas have placed in the top five of the BIG EAST Championship 19 times — finishing as champions four times, runners-up five times, third on six occasions, fourth three times, and once in fifth.
- Carsten Judge was named the BIG EAST Male Golfer of the Week after the Hoya outing in Williamsburg, Virginia. Judge was sensational at the Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate for Georgetown, holding the top spot on the leaderboard for the Hoyas tying for first place, posting an 8-under score across the 54 holes.
