WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University men's golf team is in sixth place after day one at the BIG EAST Championship in Okatie, South Carolina. GU posted a round of 290.

- Barnes Blake was the top performer for the Blue & Gray on day one, finishing in second overall. The sophomore fired off a 68 (-4).
- CJ Winchenbaugh is tied for 12th with a first round score of 71 (-1).
- Team captain Jacob Finard is tied for 34th. Finard finished with a round of 75 (+3).
- Alan Rose finished tied for 38th with a round of 76 (+4).
- Team captain Max Hutter finished in 49th overall with a round of 79 (+7).
