WASHINGTON – Following 36 holes, the Georgetown University women's golf team is currently in seventh place at the Terps Invitational, hosted by the University of Maryland. The Hoyas carded a 16-over 592 (299-293) on the par-72, 6,244-yard course at the University of Maryland Golf Course in College Park. The two-day tournament plays host to a 14-team field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Atop the Hoya leaderboard is co-captain Georgia Ruffolo at 3-over 147 (74-73) to sit in a tie for 20th place. The senior recorded four birdies (2/2) and 25 pars (12/13) over a pair of rounds.
- Tied for 25th is freshman Gabriella Eifrig at 4-over 148 (73-75). The frosh recorded a pair of birdies (2/0) and 29 pars (14/15) over 36 holes.
- Co-captain Megan Gormley is tied for 38th following two rounds at 6-over 150 (75-75). She tallied six birdies (4/2) to lead the squad on the day to go along with 19 pars (8/11).
- Catherine Qiu is also tied for 38th following 36 holes at 6-over 150 (77-73). She recorded five birdies (0/5) and 21 pars (13/8) over the pair of rounds. Her play hit stride as play progressed with all five birdies coming in the second round.
- Claire Chen recorded the first round of the day as she is currently tied for 48th at 8-over 152 (80-72). Her even second round was fueled by an eagle hole-in-one on hole 8 as well as a pair of birdies and 11 pars. For the day, she tallied one eagle (0/1), two birdies (0/2) and 22 pars (11/11).
- Playing as an individual, Charlotte Hillary sits at 10-over 154 (81-73) to be tied for 57th. She tallied a trio of birdies (2/1) and 24 pars (9/15) over 36 holes. She was much more settled with a 73 in the second round, tied for the second-best round of the day for the Blue & Gray.
- Also playing as an individual, Tina Tang is tied for 72nd following 36 holes at 15-over 159 (78-81). The sophomore managed one birdie (0/1) on the day and 21 pars (13/8) for the day.
