WASHINGTON – Georgetown's Barnes Blake was named to the All-BIG EAST Second Team, as announced by the conference office in New York on Tuesday. The honor caps off a stellar sophomore season for the New Jersey native.

- Blake delivered a sensational performance for Georgetown during the spring 2025 season, placing in the top 25 in all five events. The New Jersey native secured 15th place at the Donald Ross Collegiate, fifth at the Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate, sixth at the Princeton Invitational, 23rd at the Boilermaker Invitational, and an impressive second-place finish at the BIG EAST Championships.
- The sophomore's runner-up finish at the conference championships marked the best individual placement by a Hoya since Pieter DeGroot finished third at the 2023 BIG EAST Championships with a three-round score of 214 (-2).
- This is Blake's first BIG EAST postseason honor of his collegiate career.
