WASHINGTON - Georgetown University men's soccer senior midfielder
Zach Zengue was named to the 2025 Missouri Athletic Club (MAC) Hermann Trophy Watch List on Thursday. He was one of 29 Division I men's players selected.

- Zengue was a First Team All-BIG EAST honoree last year as well as a United Soccer Coaches First Team All-East Region selection.
- He started 19 of the 21 games he appeared in for the Blue & Gray last season.
- Zengue ranked second on the team in scoring with three goals and a squad-high seven assists for 13 points on the year.
- He boasted three multi-point games including two goals against Cornell, a goal and an assist in the win over Providence, and an impressive three assists in the victory over DePaul.
- Zengue was named the Offensive Player of the Week on 10/7 and earned nods to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on 9/9 and 10/28.
- As a sophomore, he was selected by the Columbus Crew in the second round with the 29th pick and 58th overall in the MLS Draft.
- This is Zengue's first MAC Hermann nod.
About the MAC Hermann Trophy
- The BIG EAST managed three honorees including Zengue.
- The Hermann Trophy is presented annually by the Missouri Athletic Club and is the nation's highest individual honor recognizing the National Player of the Year as determined by voting of Division I head coaches who are members of United Soccer Coaches.
- The 2025 watch list was compiled by members of the Division I Men's All-America Council from a list of returning 2024 All-Americans and First Team All-Region players. A total of 15 players will be named 2025 Hermann Trophy semifinalists on December 9 at the conclusion of NCAA Division I All-American voting. From that list, head coaches will cast votes, and three players will be named finalists. The 2025 recipient will be announced January 9, 2026, in a ceremony at the historic Missouri Athletic Club in downtown St. Louis, Missouri.
