WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University volleyball team fell to the George Mason University Patriots, 3-1 (22-25, 25-21, 25-21, 28-26), on Sunday afternoon at the Recreation & Athletic Complex in Fairfax, Virginia. With the loss, GU slides to 0-3 on the season and the Patriots improve the season at 2-1.

Hoya Highlights

• Dionna Michell led the Hoyas in kills with 20. Samantha Soderlund followed with 10 and Maria Filippova tallied nine of her own.
• Berkeley Ploder contributed a team-high five blocks for the Hoya defense.
• Kamryn Lee-Caracci, Mitchell and Juleigh Urbina all recorded two service aces.
• Urbina paced the Hoya offense with a team-high 40 assists.
• Jade Smith notched a team high 15 digs.
