WASHINGTON – With a pair of Hoyas tied at 4-over, the Georgetown University women's golf team is currently in 18th place at the 2025 Cougar Classic, a two-day tournament hosted by the College of Charleston on the par-71, 6269-yard course at Yeamans Hall Club. The field has completed two rounds in the Low Country and will continue with the final 18 holes on Tuesday morning.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Gabriella Eifrig and Georgia Ruffolo are the top Hoyas on the leaderboard as they are both at 4-over 146 on the day, tied for 60th overall. Eifrig's 146 (70-76) was fueled by a solid first round that saw the sophomore tally a pair of birdies and 15 pars. In the second round, she matched her pair of birdies while managing 10 pars. For the day, she recorded four birdies and 25 pars.
- Ruffolo's 4-over 146 (73-73) was sparked by a first round where Ruffolo recorded a pair of birdies to go along with 12 pars while the second round featured one birdie and 14 pars. Over 36 holes, she has three birdies and a squad-best 26 pars.
- Freshman Sunny Wang is the third Hoya on the leaderboard as she is tied for 79th at 9-over 151 (77-74). Her day featured a pair of birdies (1 each in the first and second rounds) and 23 pars (10/13).
- Tina Tang has carded a 13-over 155 (73-82) through 36 holes to sit at 91st on the leaderboard. She tallied a trio of birdies and 10 pars in the first round for an efficient 2-over 73). She faltered in the second round, managing one birdie and eight pars for a two-round total of four birdies and 18 pars on the day.
- Newcomer Milla Sagel is currently tied for 95th at 17-over 159 (79-80) through a pair of rounds. For the day, she recorded a trio of birdies (1/2) with the pair in the second round coming on back-to-back holes (2 and 3) while she tallied 18 pars (9/9).
