Hoyas to Host Seton Hall on Thursday Morning

WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University women's basketball team will return home to face the Seton Hall University Pirates in a BIG EAST Conference matchup on Thursday morning at McDonough Arena. The opening tip is scheduled for 11 a.m., and the game will be broadcast live on ESPN+ with Dorian Craft and Maren Walseth on the call.

  • New this season, the BIG EAST Conference has partnered with ESPN to broadcast more than 75 women's basketball games on ESPN+.
  • All remaining Georgetown women's basketball contests that are not broadcast on linear television will be available on ESPN+.

  • Due to closings in the region, the game will not be ticketed and all fans are welcome to attend.

  • Georgetown (12-8, 5-6 BIG EAST) is coming off of a 65-52 victory in a historic game against Xavier on Saturday morning.
  • Due to the impending snow storm, the game was moved to a 9:30 a.m. tip, making it the earliest tip in BIG EAST men's and women's basketball history.
  • Graduate student Brianna Scott led the way for the second game in a row with a season-high 21 points to go along with a game-best eight rebounds. She also had three assists, three steals and two blocks while going 7-7 at the line.
  • Junior Khia Miller was also in double figures with 17 points and three steals to her credit.
  • The Blue & Gray shot just 42.3% (22-52) from the field, and allowed just 37.5% (21-56) shooting by Xavier.

  • Savannah Catalon is leading the team with 14.2 ppg, while Valenzuela is second with 13.2 ppg and 7.5 rpg on the year.
