Hoyas Host Providence on Saturday

WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University women's basketball team will host the Providence College Friars on Saturday in a BIG EAST Conference matchup at McDonough Arena. The opening tip is scheduled for 2 p.m., and the game will be broadcast live on ESPN+ with Jeremy Huber and Martin Bahar calling the action.

  • New this season, the BIG EAST Conference has partnered with ESPN to broadcast more than 75 women's basketball games on ESPN+.
  • All remaining Georgetown women's basketball contests that are not broadcast on linear television will be available on ESPN+.

  • Georgetown (12-12, 5-10 BIG EAST) is coming off of a tough 67-55 loss at Villanova on Saturday afternoon in Villanova, Pennsylvania. 
  • Junior Khia Miller led the way with 12 points and four blocks in the contest.
  • Graduate student Laila Jewett managed 10 points, and junior Brianna Byars had a career-high 12 rebounds to go along with six points for the afternoon.
