OCALA, Fla. -The Georgetown University men's and women's swimming & diving teams medaled in six events while
Owen Watkins qualified for the NCAA Championship on day two of the BIG EAST Championships Presented by Jeep on Thursday evening. The men are currently in first with 317 points, while the women sit at third with 496 points.

HOYA HIGHLIGHTS
- In the 500 free, Camille Weiss beat her qualifying time by two seconds to earn fourth place with a time of 4:53.74.
- Ronan Krauss took home third in the 500 free with a time of 4:27.31.
- In the 50 free, Taplin Seelbach finished in third place with a time of 23.06.
- Watkins defended his gold medal and made Georgetown history in the 50 free (19.21). Watkins set a program record and became the first Hoya to qualify for thecNCAA Championship.
- Nico Santiago earned third place in the 3M dive with a score of 284.55.
- The 200 free relay team of Madeline Malone, Ines Lovato, Bridget Kelly and Taplin Seelbach captured second place and set a team record with a time of 1:32.75.
- Watkins, Bailey De Luise, Troy Keen and Tre Cottrell captured first place and set a program record in the 200 free with a time 1:19.06.
