Georgetown to Travel to Creighton on Wednesday

WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University women's basketball team will travel to Creighton University to take on the Bluejays in a BIG EAST Conference matchup on Wednesday evening at D.J. Sokol Arena in Omaha, Nebraska. The opening tip is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET, and the game will be broadcast live on ESPN+.

  • New this season, the BIG EAST Conference has partnered with ESPN to broadcast more than 75 women's basketball games on ESPN+.
  • All remaining Georgetown women's basketball contests that are not broadcast on linear television will be available on ESPN+.

  • Georgetown (12-10, 5-8 BIG EAST) is coming off of a tough 67-59 loss to Marquette on Sunday evening at McDonough Arena.
  • Sophomore Khadee Hession led the way with 20 points, while classmates Destiny Agubata and Summer Davis added 11 and 10, respectively.
  • Hession also had four steals in the contest and the combo of Agubata and junior Khia Miller combined for 10 rebounds.

  • Neleigh Gessert led Creighton with 16 points, while Kennedy Townsend closed the game with 14. Allison Heathcock delivered 11 points and 10 rebounds, while Kendall McGee finished with 10 points.
  • The Bluejays have four players averaging in double figures with Ava Zediker leading the way averaging 13.4 ppg.
  • Grace Boffeli is pulling down a team-high 8.3 rpg to go along with 8.5 ppg.
