WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University baseball team fell to the William & Mary Tribe 7-3 on Sunday afternoon at Capital One Park. With the loss in Tysons, Virginia, the Hoyas fall to 13-8 on the season while the Tribe improve to 7-11.
ON THE RECORD
"Disappointing way to end the weekend. But you know, when you play a really good team, that's what can happen, and they're a good team, and they played well. We have some things we have to work on, which is ultimately what the nonconference period is for, you know. We will have to regroup and get ready to go on Tuesday. But I thought that Spencer Seid gave us another good start, a quality start. He found a way to dig in and give us a chance, and that's all we can ask for. But unfortunately, we didn't support him enough on the offensive side. So like I said, we'll reset and get ready to go on the road to Virginia." - Head Coach Edwin Thompson
