WASHINGTON – Following the second day of action at the City of Oaks Collegiate hosted by NC State University, the Georgetown women's golf team moved up two spots to seventh place at 32-over 608 (309-299). The 13-team field is playing on the par-72, 6,168-yard course at the Lonnie Poole Golf Club in Raleigh, North Carolina. The 44th-ranked hosts Wolfpack lead the field at 6-over 582 (296-286).
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• Playing as an individual, Mimi Burton shot up the leaderboard with a 74 in the second round for a two-day score of 7-over 151 (77-74) to sit in a tie for 20th place. She tallied a trio of birdies and 10 pars for two-round totals of 3 birdies (0/3) and 23 pars (13/10).
• A pair of Hoyas are tied for 28th at 8-over 152. Georgia Ruffolo managed her 152 with cards of 78 and 74. She tallied a trio of birdies and 11 pars for a two-day total of five birdies (2/3) and 21 pars (10/11).
• Milla Sagel moved up into a tie for 28th after she recorded an even 72 in round two, the best round for a Hoya on the day for an 8-over 152 (80-72). She tallied a trio of birdies, all on the front nine, to go along with a squad-best 13 pars for totals of four birdies (1/3) and 23 pars (10/13).
• Catherine Qiu is tied for 36th at 9-over 153 (77-76). She managed on birdie and 12 pars in the second round for totals of three birdies (2/1) and 23 pars (11/12).
• Sunny Wang is tied for 39th at 10-over 154 with matching rounds of 77. She recorded a pair of birdies to go along with 11 pars for totals of three birdies (1/2) and 22 pars (11/11).
• Gabriella Eifrig rounded out the Hoyas as she is tied for 53rd place at 14-over 158 (77-81). She added one birdie and 11 pars to her tournament for totals of four birdies (3/1) and 19 pars (8/11).

Following the completion of the City of Oaks Collegiate on Tuesday, Georgetown will return to action April 5-6 when the squad stays closer to home for the Terps Invitational. The 54-hole, three-day tournament will be held at the Maryland Golf Course in College Park, Maryland.
