ON THE RECORD
"I thought it was a really good baseball game tonight against a really good opponent. James Madison has been in the regional, they play in a great league and they came out and played really well. I thought our guys fought to take the lead there in the sixth. I felt really good and really proud of how we battled all day and just unfortunately, couldn't get a stop in the back part of the game, and then throughout the day, they took advantage of our free bases, and they had the big couple big hits there that we weren't able to do much with, you know, but I thought it was good baseball game, but unfortunately, not enough for us on the results. But it's a new season on Thursday, so it's a new opportunity for our guys to going into BIG EAST play" - Head Coach Edwin Thompson
