ARLINGTON, Va. – The Georgetown University baseball team came up short to the George Washington Revolutionaries 10-9 on Wednesday evening at Tucker Field at Barcroft Park. With the loss in Arlington, Virginia, the Hoyas slip to 8-5 on the season while the Revolutionaries improve to 5-6.
ON THE RECORD
"I was really proud of the guys and how they got us a good league there in the third inning. JT Raab gave us a good start. It's good to get him going. And, you know, unfortunately, had a big inning there in the bottom of the third. And, you know, it was kind of difficult to respond, but we came back and scored two, and I liked our fight. We just had too many mistakes. Credit to GW for capitalizing on those mistakes that we had. But we do have to continue to work through and continue to work to get better on the little things." - Head Coach Edwin Thompson
