WASHINGTON – A pair of Georgetown University men's lacrosse players earned BIG EAST Weekly awards, as announced by the league office on Monday. Rory Connor was named the BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week while Charlie McGurrin earned a spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll following the Hoyas 14-10 loss at second-ranked Richmond over the weekend.

BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week
Connor scored six goals and added an assist in the 14-10 loss at second-ranked Richmond. He posted his fourth-straight hat trick in as many games with the Hoyas on the season and added a man-up goal – his first of the season. Connor continues to lead the NCAA in goals per game (5.00). This is his second BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week honor while also being named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll twice.

BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll
McGurrin was named the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll for the second time this season after collecting six ground balls to go with one caused turnover against Richmond. He currently paces the Hoyas with 4.50 ground balls per game, third best in the BIG EAST this season.
