WASHINGTON – Incoming Georgetown University men's lacrosse freshman Griffin Cepiel was selected to play at the prestigious New Balance All-American Senior Lacrosse Game at Towson's Johnny Unitas Stadium on Saturday. He is the only incoming BIG EAST men's lacrosse signee to participate in the event
Cepiel scored 56 points (31G, 25A) as a senior at Deerfield Academy in 2026 to lead the Big Green to a 14-4 record and an outright New England West-1 Championship. He was earned the Lance Odden Award as the New England West-1 Midfielder of the Year as well as All-NEPSAC and All-NE-West-1 First Team honors to go with New Balance, USA Lacrosse and Nike All-American recognition.
The New Balance All-American Senior Lacrosse Game has been one of the premier events to showcase the top lacrosse talent in the country before their matriculation to college. Since its inception in 2006, 45 future Hoyas – including Cepiel – have been invited to play. Cepiel joins eight current Hoyas –
