WASHINGTON – Georgetown University men's lacrosse junior goalie Anderson Moore was named the USILA National Team of the Week, as announced by the governing body on Wednesday. Moore, also previously named the BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week, led the Hoya defense to a smothering 17-5 victory over No. 13 Denver in the BIG EAST opener last weekend..

Moore collected 10 saves in Georgetown's win at Denver. He allowed just four goals in 54:44 and had a .714 save percentage. Georgetown's defense held Denver scoreless for a total of 27:25 spanning the second through fourth quarters and Moore's last goal allowed came at the 8:38 mark in the second quarter.
