WASHINGTON – Three Georgetown University men's lacrosse players earned BIG EAST Weekly awards, as announced by the league office on Monday.
Liam Connor was named the BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week while
Rory Connor and
Anderson Moore both earned a spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll following the Hoyas defeating Providence 15-8 in league play over the weekend.

BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week
Connor scored a career-high five goals and added an assist in Georgetown's win at Providence. He scored his five goals on just six shots, including the game-winner against the Friars. This is Connor's second BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week honor this season.

BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll
Connor scored three goals and added an assist in the victory over the Friars. He has scored at least a hat trick in seven games for the Hoyas this season and has had multi-goal games in all nine contests. This is Connor's third nod to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll this season to go with being recognized as the BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week three times as well.

BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll
Moore collected 13 saves in Georgetown's win at Providence and added three ground balls. He allowed just seven goals in 58:12 and had a .619 save percentage. Georgetown's defense held Providence scoreless for a total of 21:14 spanning the first through third quarters. Moore earned his 30th career win in goal in less than three full seasons.
