WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University women's openweight rowing team concluded its spring season with a historic showing at the Patriot League Rowing Championships today on the Cooper River. The Hoyas distinguished themselves as one of only three programs in the conference to qualify every single boat for the Grand Finals, joining Boston University and Navy in the elite feat.
The afternoon was highlighted by a pair of brilliant, medal-winning performances from the Hoya fours. The Second Varsity Four captured its first-ever Patriot League medal in program history, fighting their way to a bronze finish. Meanwhile, the Varsity Four put together a stunning race to secure a silver medal, marking the boat's highest conference finish since 2018.
