Georgetown scored six of the next seven goals in the opening half to lead 7-3 at the break. Five different Hoyas scored in the stanza including the eventual game-winner by Cesare with 2:27 to go.
  • Coming out of the break, Georgetown's offense continued to cruise, outscoring PC 4-2 in the third quarter courtesy of four different goal scorers. The Friars managed a last second goal with three seconds remaining in the period to salvage an 11-5 GU lead heading into the final quarter.
  • Two early Georgetown goals put the game out of reach at 13-5 with 11:26 to go and the teams traded goals to seal the 14-6 victory. Liam Connor assisted on all three goals in the period for the Hoyas.
