The Hoyas will then make the short trip to Maryland on Sept. 7 for the annual derby against the local rival.
A home game against High Point on Sept. 12 caps off four straight NCAA opponents, and also starts a three-match homestand for the Blue & Gray which includes Evansville on Sept. 21. Georgetown's final nonconference test is scheduled for October 19 on the road as GU travels to Pitt.
The BIG EAST schedule begins on Sept. 18 at home against Marquette. The Blue & Gray will host three more BIG EAST contests including matches against Providence (Oct. 2), Seton Hall (Oct. 16) and Creighton (Oct. 30). Road BIG EAST contests will include Akron (Sept. 25), St. John's (Oct. 10), Villanova (Oct. 24) and UConn (Nov. 6) with three of the four being NCAA qualifiers.
The BIG EAST has two regional divisions, and each team is scheduled to play eight conference games, including each of the five teams in their respective divisions, and three teams from the out-of-region division.
Four teams will make the BIG EAST Tournament in 2026. The team with the highest overall conference points will secure the No. 1 seed. The team in the opposite division with the highest conference point total will secure the No. 2 seed. The semifinal and final will be played at the Maryland SoccerPlex in Boyds, Maryland. The two semifinal games are scheduled for Thursday, November 12, while the championship game will be Sunday, November 15.
