WASHINGTON – Sophomore Jaden Marchan secured an automatic spot in Friday's 400m final, highlighting the opening day of action for the Georgetown track & field squad at the 2026 NCAA Outdoor Championships on Wednesday.
 
Georgetown Men

• 400m Prelims: Jaden Marchan punched his ticket to Friday's 400m final with a time of 45.26, taking second in heat three to automatically qualify.
• 800m Prelims: Tinoda Matsatsa placed 10th in the field and took fifth in his heat with a mark of 1:45.92.
