Nolan on Menges: "Emily has been an impact defender for us from day one. Exceptionally quick with a great reading of the game she continues to get better every game. She is so dangerous coming out of the back. I believe she is one of the top defenders in the country and has become our leader and captain."

She has also played in the WPSL for the Long Island Fury ... A two-time all-state selection for soccer and is also an All-American and all-state selection for indoor and outdoor track in the 800-meter run, 4x400-meter relay, 4x800-meter relay and 1,600-meter run.
