Student athletes have access to nutritional support provided by Patrice Amore, MS, RD, LDN, CPT. Amore works with student athletes, incorporating coaches and sports medicine staff to educate on sports performance, and take a hands-on approach to promote healthy habits for sports and life outside athletics.
Mission:
To provide scientific research based nutrition support that results in proper fueling from the classroom to competition, improved sport performance, decreased illness and injury, and advocation for student athlete well-being.
Purpose:
To promote life-long habits that improve the health and well-being of student athletes in order to reach their peak performance in sport and beyond.
Vision:
To operate a performance based nutrition program that encourages athletes to ask questions, be vulnerable and take initiative in a safe and constructive environment.
