Men's Tennis Falls to Princeton in Season Finale

PRINCETON, N.J. -- Georgetown's men's tennis team lost its final match of the season, 7-0, to Princeton on Saturday, April 29, at the Lenz Tennis Center. GU's final overall record goes to 6-24.

The Tigers swept the singles competitions in straight set victories and won the doubles point by capturing two of three matches. The Hoyas did win at No. 2 doubles as the tandem of Marc Lohser (Fr., Woodbury, N.Y./Syosset) and Troy Crichlow (Fr., Wilton, Mass./Milton) fought to a 9-8(8) tiebreak victory over Princeton's Ahn Ahn Liu and John Portlock.

Georgetown placed eighth in last weekends BIG EAST Tennis Championships held in Miami, Fla. The tenth-seeded Hoyas upset No. 7 seed Villanova in the first round to advance. On the final day of competition, GU fell to No. 6 Connecticut, 4-0.
