11/15/2001  Washington DC?. Georgetown University Men?s Basketball Head Coach Craig Esherick announced today that Georgetown has received a National Letter of Intent from Brandon Bowman. The 6-8, 190 lb. Bowman, a sharpshooter from USA Today?s #1 ranked Weschester High School in California, averaged 14 points and 8 rebounds as a Junior.  The Santa Monica native did this on a team that, by the end of the year, will have produced 8 major prospects in the last two seasons. Bowman, ranked one of the nation?s most talented High Schoolers, chose Georgetown over Maryland, Stanford, Virginia, Connecticut, Kansas and Tennessee.
