Washington, D.C. ? The Georgetown Hoyas women's basketball team opened their exhibition schedule with a 96-69 loss to Moscow Dynamo on Nov. 2 at McDonough Arena. The Hoyas trailed by only five at the break, but the Dynamo outscored the Hoyas 54-32 in the second half.

Sophomore Rebekkah Brunson (Oxon Hill, Md./Oxon Hill), a First Team All-BIG EAST preseason pick, led the Hoyas with 22 points and nine rebounds. Brunson was 10-for-11 from the free throw line. Freshman Mary Lisicky (Whitehall, Pa./Whitehall) added 15 points and made three 3-point field goals. Senior Lesley Walker (Silver Spring, Md./Wheaton) was also in double figures with 11 points.

Junior Zsuszanna Horvath (Budapest, Hungary/ELTE Trefort Agoston) added six points and nine rebounds off the bench for GU. Six Dynamo players scored in double figures.

The Hoyas will play one more exhibition game before opening the season on Nov. 16, against Fairleigh Dickinson at McDonough Arena. Tip off is set for 5 p.m.
