The Hoyas shot 66% and took an 84-26 edge into the locker room at halftime on Friday in an exhibition game against the Latvia Select Team in McDonough Arena. Georgetown also enjoyed a 30-9 rebounding edge at intermission as well as 15-3 steals margin.

For the game, Mike Sweetney and Brandon Bowman each had 22 points. Mike had 8 boards and 4 steals while Brandon had 6 steals and 5 assists. Ashanti Cook added 19 points and led the team in assists with 7. Courtland Freeman had a double-double, scoring 14 points and leading the team in rebounding with 18 boards. Tony Bethel and Wesley Wilson each scored 13 and Victor Samnick had 10 rebounds.

The Hoyas shot 53.8% for the game while holding the Latvia Select team to 29.1%.  Georgetown finished with a 30-10 edge in assists and a 22-5 margin in steals. Latvia Select had 4 blocks to Georgetown's 3.
