WASHINGTON, D.C. ? The Georgetown women?s soccer team began their 2002 season with a 3-1 exhibition win over George Washington University.  Courtney Shaub (Jr., Potomac, Md./Winston Churchill) netted the first goal of the new Hoya season followed by tallies from Maureen McCartney (Sr., Neptune City, N.J./Neptune) and Jessie Beers-Altman (Jr., State College, Pa./State College). Captain Karin Ostrander (Sr., Atherton, Calif./Menlo Atherton School) picked up an assist on Beers-Altman?s score.
