The Skinny
This is the second straight season that Georgetown will play Loyola in its first game after the exam break. The Hoyas have won six consecutive against the Greyhounds including last year?s 74-57 win in Baltimore. Both teams are currently on two-game skids with GU falling to Indiana and Richmond and LC losing to Delaware and Maryland.

After starting the year with four road victories, the McDonough faithful were hoping to continue the winning streak but Georgetown fell in its only two home contests and is 4-0 on the road and 0-2 in McDonough. Almost all of GU?s games have been nailbiters with only one game?s final differential exceeding 10 points. The average margin of victory has been a slim 2.8. All-America candidate Rebekkah Brunson continues to crash the boards, leading the BIG EAST in every rebounding category. GU has struggled from beyond the three point line hitting only .250 from Bonusville. Mary Lisicky is carrying the bulk of the three point load hitting 14 while five separate Hoyas have hit one each.

Loyola had a tough offensive game against Delaware this past Sunday, scoring a record low seven points in the first half, and finishing with 25. The Greyhounds lone player scoring in double figures is sophomore Lauren Troupe with 11.3. Three other players each average between 7.0 and 8.7 points a contest.

You Should Know...
Rebekkah Brunson is nine points away from being the only Hoya to rank in the top five for both scoring and rebounding.

You Should Also Know...
Mary Lisicky is on an 18-consecutive free throw streak. She buried 11-of-11 against Indiana and the other seven date back through the GMU game. GU?s all-time record is 23, set by Katie Smrcka-Duffy during the 1999-00 season.
