The Georgetown men?s tennis team took on nationally ranked University of Virginia on Saturday, Feb. 22, at the Boar?s Head Sports Club in Charlottesville, Va. and found little but rough going. #51 UVA swept the three doubles matches and claimed all six singles matches in straight sets. The final score was 0-7 in favor of the Cavaliers.

Sunday's match against Rutgers saw more disappointment as Georgetown was again swept in doubles play, falling in straight sets in five of six matches. Only Erik Bildman (Brookline, Mass./Roxbury Latin) was able to extend his match by capturing the second set before falling to Rutgers? Gordie Milchutsky 4-6, 3-6, 2-6. The final score was Georgetown 0, Rutgers 7.

The two losses put the Hoyas 2002-2003 dual match record at 0-3.
