The Skinny
Georgetown attempts to claim only its second win all-time against the Irish in a visit to Notre Dame this evening. The teams have played to a few memorable finishes over the years, including a four point game in 1996-97 and an overtime contest in 1992-93.

Georgetown and Notre Dame have dropped three of the last five conference games but rebounded to win weekend matches, halting their respective skids. Now is the time for these teams to take the next step and climb further into the tight BIG EAST race.

With her 11th double-double of the season and 17th double-digit scoring game of the year, Rebekkah Brunson continues to post All-American numbers for the Hoyas (11.7 ppg, 11.5 rpg).

Three of Notre Dame?s starting five average double-digit scoring on the season, lead by Jacqueline Batteast and her 15.6 ppg.
