WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The Georgetown men?s tennis team suffered its third consecutive shut-out loss as they were defeated 7-0 by American University on the home McDonough courts Wednesday afternoon March 24.
Georgetown's doubles team of Dennis Cravedi (Bethesda, Md./ Georgetown Prep) and Erik Bildman (Brookline, Mass./Roxbury Latin School) endured a tough 9-8 loss at the #1 doubles position. In the singles competition, Bildman was the only Hoya to win a set. He dropped his match at #5 singles 6-4,3-6,6-2.
The Hoyas next host BIG EAST Conference rival Boston College on the McDonough Courts on Saturday, March 27, beginning with the doubles competition at 12 noon.
