WASHINGTON, D.C. - The the Georgetown Women's Varsity Lightweight Eight placed fourth in the Women's National Championship race this past weekend. Wisconsin won this race, followed by Princeton, Radcliffe, Georgetown, URI, and Central Florida.

At the same regatta, the Georgetown Men's Varsity Lightweight Eight followed up its bronze medal performance three weeks ago at the Eastern Sprints by finishing second in the Men's Lightweight National Championship race. Navy capped off an undefeated season by winning the race, followed by Georgetown, Princeton, Yale, Harvard, and Cornell.
