WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University women's openweight rowing team is scheduled to resume competition at the Philly Invitational, held on Saturday, March 28, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Hoyas will return to the water following their spring opener at the George's Cup to take part in a full slate of racing on the Schuylkill River.
Philly Invitational Boats (OW)
1st Varsity 8+ (1V8) Coxed by Lilly Bartilucci, the 1V8 features Sara Wasserman at stroke, followed by Rebecca Estevao, Noelle Winegar, Caden Collins, Maeve Farley, Alex Junko, Maddy Sweet, and Anna Hemmerle in bow.
2nd Varsity 8+ (2V8) Phoebe Opler coxes the 2V8 with Sophia Grossman at stroke. Behind her are Sydney Thompson, Ellie Power, Caroline Maloney, Caroline Keller, Kat Lord-Krause, Zoe Stone, and Abby Camp in bow.
3rd Varsity 8+ (3V8) Led by coxswain Camille Stephant, the 3V8 is stroked by Maggie Gallagher, followed by Genevieve Mckay, Abbey Murray, Natalie Brown, Sumner Spence, Charlotte Thies, Georgia Cooper, and Cailyn Sullivan in bow.
1st Varsity 4+ (1V4) Emilie Andrews coxes the 1V4 with Sophie Roman at stroke, followed by Sophia Close, Carmen Torrecilla, and Bita Roham in bow.
2nd Varsity 4+ (2V4) Coxed by Paige Bannon, the 2V4 has Margaux DeFelice at stroke, with Elena Elder, Jane Staples, and Madison Catanese behind her.
