Georgetown University Men?s Basketball Head Coach John Thompson III today announced that Matt Causey was transferring. Coach Thompson said, ?Its unfortunate that I never got the opportunity to know and work with Matt, but we wish him the best of luck in his new situation.?

Causey, a 5?11? point guard from Berkmar High School in Georgia, averaged 13.5 minutes per game. He established a career high in scoring with 12 points vs Boston College at the BIG EAST Tournament.
