The only madness I discovered at this year's Midnight Madness was my own as I joined the pre-festivities at five o'clock p.m. and photographed my way to the conclusion at 11:59 p.m. The enthusiasm was palpable and it served up a plate of nostalgia to see McDonough packed to the rafters with such deafening noise levels. It certainly bodes well for the coming season. Sighting of new Hoya T-shirt: "Beware of the Dog." It surely one-ups that dreadful Terp one-liner, what-is-it? "Be afraid of the Tortoise?"
