WASHINGTON - The Georgetown Women's Allegiance hosted its annual New York City Mentoring Event earlier this month at Hudson Yards. The event was hosted by Women's Allegiance members Drew Fine (B'84, P'20, P'21) and Mary Taylor Behrens (C'83, P'16, P'18, P'22), and featured alumni panelists as well as a keynote address. The event included 41 current Georgetown female student-athletes representing 10 teams. The keynote address was given by Dawn Fitzpatrick (P'26, P'28), CEO & Chief Investment Advisor, Soros Fund Management LLC. This was followed by an address from panel moderator and former Georgetown women's basketball player Monica McNutt (C'11) of ESPN.
The panel included former GU student-athletes including Pendleton Bogache (women's golf B'19), Corey Delaney (women's soccer S'17), Mirabel Nkenke Dzefi (track & field C'16, MBA'22) and Ellie Watkins (volleyball C'23).
