WASHINGTON, D.C. - Georgetown women's soccer senior midfielder Nicole DePalma (Theills, N.Y./North Rockland) was named Soccer Buzz Second Team All-Regional for the second time in her career, earning the same distinction in 2002. This honor adds to her post-season awards, as DePalma was an All-BIG EAST Second Team selection.
DePalma, a senior captain, started all 19 games for the Hoyas and was the team leader in points with 22; scoring nine goals and notching four assists. She has been named BIG EAST Offensive player of the Week as well as being named the ECAC Offensive player of the Week during the week of October 25. In Georgetown records, DePalma ranks second in single season goals and third in single season points. She places second in career points with 64, and is the Georgetown leader in career assists with 22.
Georgetown ended their 2004 season with a 9-9-1 record and advanced to the first round of the BIG EAST tournament where they lost to Boston College 1-0.
