After years of existing as the unofficial spirit organization for Georgetown Athletics, Hoya Blue is making it official and is petitioning SAC to be a recognized student organization. In an effort to solicit input on key issues, Hoya Blue is hosting a town hall meeting next Tuesday (April 12) from 8:30 - 9:30 PM in Team Room A, located on the 2nd Floor of McDonough Gymnasium. The following issues will be on the agenda:
- Organization Mission
- Organization Responsibilities
- Officer Election Process
- Officer Removal Process
- Constitutional Amendment Process
- Open Forum
Please note all nominations for next year's officer candidates will occur during this meeting. If you want to nominate a candidate for officer, you must be present at this meeting. Open elections will occur prior to the end of April.
Kudos to the 2004-2005 Hoya Blue leadership for taking the initiative in shepherding Hoya Blue's "Initial Public Offering".
