Washington DC - Georgetown Junior forward Brandon Bowman announced today that he has submitted his name for the NBA draft. Bowman, 6-8.5, 219 lbs., led the Hoyas this season in both scoring, averaging 15.1 points per game and in steals with a total of 42. He was also second in rebounding with 6.1 boards per game and third in both assists with 69 and in blocks with 29. He started all 32 contests for the 19-13 Hoyas, who advanced to the NIT quarterfinals, and averaged 33.3 minutes per outing. Brandon was a third team All BIG EAST selection. He has not retained an agent and will not in order to protect his college eligibility.
