Washington DC - Georgetown University Director of Athletics Bernard Muir today announced the addition of two associate athletic directors to the athletic department.

Brian Battle joins the athletic department as Associate Athletic Director for Compliance. Brian most recently served as Director of Compliance at Florida State University, a position he has held since 2002. Prior to that Brian served for 4 years as the Compliance Coordinator at FSU, where he had been a graduate assistant in the Compliance Services Department.

Brian is a graduate of Alfred University (Finance and Political Science) and received his Master's degree in Sports Administration from Florida State University.

Jennifer Heppel, Associate Athletic Director for Administration comes to Georgetown from the Big Ten Conference where she has served as Associate Commissioner for Compliance and Enforcement since 2001. Prior to that she was Assistant Commissioner for Compliance and Enforcement from 2000 to 2001 and Director of Legislative and Eligibility Services from 1998-2000. Jennifer has worked at the NCAA as a Membership Services Representative and as an Assistant Athletic Director/Senior Woman Administrator at the University of Hartford.

Jennifer is a graduate of Wesleyan University (History) and received her Master's degree in Business Administration from Robert Morris University.
