Washington, D.C. - Head Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Coach Bethany Bower announced today the new addition to her staff, Diving Coach Eric Wagner.

Wagner comes to Georgetown after working as the Assistant Diving Coach at Washington Golf and Country Club in 2005. Prior to that Wagner was the Assistant Diving Coach at Starr Dive Club from 2001 to 2002.

Wagner graduated from George Washington University in 1993 with a BA in International Business and a minor in exercise physiology. While at GW, Wagner was named Atlantic 10 Conference Diver of the Year (1993), was the Atlantic 10 Conference Champion in the 3 meter springboard (1992, 1993) and the conference runner-up in the 1 meter springboard for both 1992 and 1993. He was a three time NCAA Zone National Qualifier and still holds the 3 meter springboard record for George Washington University.

Eric is married, has three children and lives in Arlington, Va.
