Washington, D.C. - The Georgetown university softball team's doubleheader at Coppin State, originally scheduled for Tuesday, March 21 with first pitch at 2 p.m., has been postponed due to inclement weather. A makeup date has yet to be scheduled.

The Hoyas return to the action on March 24-26 for the 2006 Highlander Softball Classic, a tournament hosted by Radford University. Other teams participating in the tournament are Albany, Howard, Iona, Lehigh, Longwood and Radford. GU's first game is at noon on March 24 against Iona.
