  • UConn is now 5-0 at the Verizon Center in NCAA Tournament play (9-1 overall play) Uconn is now 3-1 vs. 5-seeds (all in the Regional Semis)
  • UConn is now 14-2 all-time as a 1-seed
  • UConn is now 3-0 all-time vs. Washington (last in 1998 Regional Semis)
  • Washington is now 14-14 all-time in NCAA Tournament play
  • UConn is now 8-6 in 14 Regional Semifinal games
  • With the win, UConn is now 30-3, marking the 6th time under Jim Calhoun that the team has reached the 30-win plateau.

  • Washington's Jamaal Williams had 27 points which sets a new career high. His previous high was 26 against Eastern Washington on 12/16/05.
