• UConn is now 5-0 at the Verizon Center in NCAA Tournament play (9-1 overall play) Uconn is now 3-1 vs. 5-seeds (all in the Regional Semis)
• UConn is now 14-2 all-time as a 1-seed
• UConn is now 3-0 all-time vs. Washington (last in 1998 Regional Semis)
• Washington is now 14-14 all-time in NCAA Tournament play
• UConn is now 8-6 in 14 Regional Semifinal games
• With the win, UConn is now 30-3, marking the 6th time under Jim Calhoun that the team has reached the 30-win plateau.
• Washington forced its NCAA Tournament opponents into 60 turnovers in its three games. (Utah State 22, Illinois 12, UConn 26)
• Washington set a new team tournament record for steals in a game with 19. The old record was 11 set in the first round of this year's tournament against Utah State.
• Jamaal Williams 3-pointer with 1:55 left in the second half was his first made three of the year and only his second attempt of the season.
