Back in the Saddle

April 14, 2006

So glad to be back blogging after three weeks of computer failure, office moves, and Georgetown travel. My patched-up computer is humming along nicely right now. I have a new space in McDonough located in the area formerly occupied by the varsity weight room, once the east balcony viewing stands in the gymnasium. Finally, I have dozens of photos to share that were taken during Georgetown journeys over the past fortnight.

On this Good Friday, the Hilltop is somewhat deserted, though McDonough still has signs of life. Most of the spring sport teams are on campus, practicing today, competing tomorrow.

Let's see . . . where did I leave off? I was in Minneapolis, headed to our sweet 16 game against Florida. Prior to and throughout that contest, never did I believe that we might not win that match-up. In fact, I am firmly convinced that if we played them a second and third time, we would prevail. Nonetheless, what an amazing year!

A gallery of photos from Minnesota follows.
