Washington, D.C. - A pair of Georgetown University crew alumni - Cameron Booth (C'05) and Vincent Puma (C'90) - took part in the 2006 World Rowing Championships on Saturday, August 26 in Eton, Great Britain.
Puma, the coxswain on the American pair with coxswain boat, helped the Americans to a fourth place finish with a time of 6:56.91.
Meanwhile, Booth, the stroke, and the rest of the American lightweight eight squad placed fifth in the finals on Saturday, crossing in 5:40.17.
Two other former Hoya crew members - Conal Groom (C'95) and Nick Haley (F'93) - helped to coach the United States contingency at the Worlds.
