Washington, D.C. - Georgetown University Athletics, in association with its website provider, CBS College Sports Network, has announced that www.guhoyas.com can now be delivered in a smartphone-friendly version.

The smartphone-friendly version of www.guhoyas.com will offer the latest headlines, box scores and student-athlete biographies.

When Hoya fans visit www.guhoyas.com on their smartphone, an auto-detect script will determine what version of the site the user should receive. If fans are visiting the site via a fully-enabled web browser, then he/she will be delivered the fully-enabled version of the site. If the user is not coming to the GU Athletics website via a fully-enabled web browser (most smartphones), then he/she will be delivered the smartphone-friendly version of www.guhoyas.com.

Additionally, there are a variety of settings that can affect the presentation of the content. For example, the Treo Palm has different view options - Optimized and Wide - that produce quite different results.
