WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University Department of Athletics has unveiled its newest look into the world of collegiate athletics with the Hoya Insider Blog. Hosted on www.GUHoyas.com, the blog will be written by members of the Sports Information Department as well as entries from student-athletes, administrators and guests. The blog will provide Hoya fans with an inside look at the day-to-day activities of the department.

"We have made strides this past year in finding new and unique ways to connect online with our students, supporters and fans," said Assistant Athletic Director Dan O'Neil. "We are excited to launch the Hoya Insider Blog and hope it will be a place that fans can continue to visit in order to get a behind-the-scenes look at the department."

The sports information staff will provide a majority of the content, but student-athlete blogs will also be housed on the site. Men's soccer, women's soccer and football all currently have blogs that will be moved to the new location making the Hoya Insider blog a one-stop shop for musings involving all programs. Hoya Blue President Anna Selling was the first guest blogger with more to follow including coaches, administrators and alumni.

During the school year, be sure to check back for the most up-to-date happenings within the department. The Hoya Insider Blog can be found at www.GUHoyas.com/blog.
